Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Sales Tracker, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our application.
Service Description
Sales Tracker is a free, offline-first sales management and invoicing application designed for small and medium-sized businesses in Ghana and across Africa. Our service includes:
- Invoice creation and management
- Client database management
- Inventory tracking
- Sales reports and analytics
- Offline functionality with optional cloud sync
Your Responsibilities
As a user of Sales Tracker, you agree to:
- Provide accurate business information when using the application
- Use the service only for lawful business purposes in compliance with Ghanaian law
- Maintain the security of your device and any account credentials
- Take responsibility for backing up your important business data
- Not use the service to engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the application
Data Ownership & Responsibility
You own your data. All business data you enter into Sales Tracker remains your property.
Your Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the accuracy of invoices and financial records you create
- You are responsible for backing up your data regularly (we recommend regular exports)
- You are responsible for compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) requirements and tax regulations
- You acknowledge that Sales Tracker is a tool to help manage your business, not a substitute for professional accounting or legal advice
Free Service & Future Pricing
Sales Tracker is currently offered as a free service. We reserve the right to:
- Introduce premium features or subscription plans in the future
- Maintain a free tier with basic functionality for all users
- Provide advance notice (at least 30 days) before implementing any pricing changes
- Grandfather existing users with special pricing or extended free access
Disclaimer of Warranties
Sales Tracker is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
While we strive to provide a reliable service, we cannot guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation (though we work hard to minimize issues)
- That the application will meet all your specific business needs
- That data stored locally on your device will not be lost due to device failure, browser issues, or other technical problems
- Complete accuracy of calculations or automated features (always review your invoices before sending)
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Sales Tracker
- We are not liable for any business losses, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption
- Our total liability to you for any claims related to the service shall not exceed GH₵ 100 (one hundred Ghana cedis)
- You use Sales Tracker at your own risk and are responsible for ensuring it meets your business requirements
Offline Functionality & Data Storage
Sales Tracker is designed to work offline using browser storage technology. You acknowledge that:
- Data is stored locally on your device and may be lost if you clear browser data, uninstall the app, or experience device failure
- You are responsible for regular backups and data exports
- Browser updates or changes may affect data storage and application functionality
- Optional cloud sync features (when available) may have separate terms and storage limitations
Intellectual Property
Sales Tracker, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by TekLumin and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our application without express written permission.
Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate access to the service for violation of these terms
- Discontinue the service entirely with reasonable notice (at least 60 days)
- Modify or update features, functionality, or terms with advance notice
You may stop using Sales Tracker at any time. We recommend exporting your data before discontinuing use.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the application or via email (if provided). Your continued use of Sales Tracker after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Ghana-Specific Legal Compliance
Tax Compliance: Sales Tracker provides tools to help you create invoices and track sales, but you are responsible for:
- Registering with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) if required
- Collecting and remitting VAT and other taxes in accordance with Ghanaian tax law
- Maintaining proper books and records as required by the Internal Revenue Act
- Filing accurate tax returns and paying taxes on time
Business Registration: Ensure your business is properly registered with the Registrar General's Department and Ghana Revenue Authority as required by law.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Sales Tracker shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be submitted to the courts of Ghana with jurisdiction in Accra.
